Code 52 is your knock sensor circuit.
Chances are the wiring went bad and needs to be redone. This is very common with these cars.
Also turning the CPS while starting the car won't do anything. Unless the CPS is a tooth off it will start anywhere in the adjustment range.

Are you still using the stock hardline on the hanger?
Would that create a restriction in the system, or does the surge tank negate that issue?

I've been thinking a lot about what i'm going to do, and decided to continue moving forward.
I have a couple heads in my garage and i may be able to use, but the 1st step is bringing my head to the machine shop and fully inspect it and check...
I want to get my head tested to make sure its not annealed, the machine shop said they can test it for hardness but not sure what it should be.
So my question is, what is an acceptable range to still be considered NOT annealed?
Update:
I've been chasing fuel issues and this morning i replaced the intank filter and double checked all my fittings cuz i'm losing fuel pressure right when i turn the key off. No leaks in the system so i think my injectors are clogged or something.
