Great replies guys. I was just curious right now more than anything. IJ knows the swap I'm wanting to do eventually, but it's a secret! This is just the preliminary planning :). I would have replied sooner, but didnt get emails saying any replies were made; how wierd.

That hood is decent, but why not functional? It wouldn't be hard to cut little vent holes in the back of those risers. I know you'd have to make the channels underneith for water etc, but it looks like it would catch a lot of water as it is now, and not offer any benefit for cooling ala Top...
I'm just wondering, should you require engine clearance or whatever, can the front sway bar me moved around to allow this? If you have to make a custom sway bar to fit around the new engine say, would it still work? I'm just wondering as a swap I've been planning for some years now will likely...
Not when people keep bumping it :P. I was going to eventually update it when I did more work on the dash. I'm finishing up some big projects for school end right now, etc... excuse excuse.
Final? Not dead, until I say so ;).

When i replaced my auto tranny, I had the car on jacks/ramps and did it twice because i screwed up the first time, all in an underground car lot (shines nails on chest) hahaa. Trick? Jack up front of engine a bit, and let the tranny weight the ass end down. You will need roughly 3 feet of...
You keep asking how much your car is worth, how rare it is; are you trying to sell it? That's the vibe I get. If you keep it, then forget how much it's worth right now. It's rare, and many people like the 2 tones ( like myself) and that's all you need to know! If it has problems like a bhg and...
Here's another shot of the spoiler. Pardon the lack of referencing, but I forget who this member is. It was for sale, and such a rare spoiler as it is, I snagged the pic :icon_bigg.
I much prefer the type 2 spoiler though.

It's an interresting idea. However, the part about wanting to hide oil/dirt? You will have a harder time diagnosing problems when you can't tell that your turbo oil feed has blown and coated the bay with oil heh.

Where are you in ontario? I got mine at Ottawa Fasteners in Nepean, Ottawa. I walked in, bought the bolts, and put the block on the stand. Grade 12 or something. They were mighty bolts!

This guy is the only one I know who sells them. I bought a cluster from him and it came well packed.

If your engine bay is darker than the outside, then you should not paint the bay to match the faded outside; it doesn't make sense. Re-paint the outside to bring it back to the darker colour. Teal isn't super light until it's faded. I know, because I had a 92 teal ;).
If your plan to pain the...
