    Stretch's Digidash thread

Well, I figured a small update would be nice for anyone who's still curious. Last weekend my dad came down here and we worked late into the eve on V2.0 of the digidash project. He was repositioning the small displays for me and we powered it up for the first time, and several times afterwards...

http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?143552-Pre89-lip-Cusco-STB-cams-tails. He has the whole kit for sale; buy it. You will get everything and for $40 shipped it's a bargain. I had a head do the stripped thread thing. It happens after awhile to aluminum, the annealing. Ah well...

I believe I am missing many of them, and even if not I would still prefer to buy all new ones with new metal prongs as it is a new cluster. I can't check what I do have because my harness is back in Ottawa in storage. Did Dr Tweak source you all of the plugs or just some of them? ask92: I'll be...

Good info Grim, I'll have to either try and have him source some for me, or buy yours when I can afford to, making an offer you cannot refuse :P eric

Yes, I do have a rhd digi dash harness but when I tried connecting it up with my previous version LHD conversion, it was missing some plug ends, of course, so I will have to source them. The plan here is simple: get native male plug ends for displays, use new male/female plugs to create jumper...

    Stretch's Digidash thread

Hey guys, here's a pic of what the gauge cluster will look like once the electronics are in place! They are almost done so once the wires are connected there will be real pics of it and hopefully some pics of it lit up, we'll see what my dad has time for. eric

    Stretch's Digidash thread

Yeah it has been going on/off for some time now, thus why I want to finish it. I have said in the past that updates were only a month or so away, but this time it really should be soon because I have seen the progress with my own eyes heh. I'll post the photoshop pic if I get it tonight. eric

    Stretch's Digidash thread

Hey guys, ask92 you are my last follower but fear not! I met with my dad for Father's Day, and he showed me the almost completed electronics portion of the cluster and I must say it looks pretty perfect; as good a job is possible with the stock electronics. Remember, my whole purpose is to make...

    Rusty floor repair

Was there acid in your brake fluid? That sure ate right through the floor quickly! I'm just kidding around, but seriously, best of luck with your repair. Do I spot more rust behind the cross beam too? eric

    Heart of a Lion

Nice striping on the covers; haven't seen that before. I was also intrigued by your fabric for the interior panels and shift boot. I may have had an old scarf that looked exactly like them! Is this the style nowadays? To use old scarfs for panels? eric

This year is the year it gets finished. My dad says easter is the deadline for the flip, so I should have my gauges back by then. Once back, I do vac-form, then many pics :). I'll update at that time. eric

    Stretch's Digidash thread

Heh, you and I wish. School is very busy at the moment, and my father is still working on the new board I gave him. He is supposed to be swapping it like the other board earlier in this thread, the difference being it has the extra gauge so I want to use it instead of the smaller board. That is...
