Seat debate. Fixed or reclining safty?

I like to adjust my seat for the type of driving I am doing. I have hated all the fixed seats I have ever sat in. I love the factory seats.

    Billet rear diff cover......

I see no benefit to a cover like that. Would be nice to have either added oil capacity or cooling fins like the Mk4.

Sawbladz build. Lots of pics...possibly some progress.

Spent some more money. Picked up a can of the DEI Silicone spray for the header wrap. Also got some mouting hardware for my oil cooler and some new Auto Meter gauges. I wanted them all to match and the silver faced oil pressure gauge was bugging me. A few hundred later and I have a new pyrometer...

    Pics of wheels

You run whatever you can find because good tires in 16's are going bye bye. I had 225/50's in the front and 245/45's in the rear. It looked good and wasn't expensive. 275's don't exist in street rubber. I don't even think the 255/50 is made anymore but I haven't checked since I no longer have 16's.

    High performance starter?

What is done to your motor to require a "high performance" starter. Sounds like you just need one that works.

    Proper Wheel Sizing Help?

The stock offset is +37, not +41 unless that is the offset for these wheels. Your post is confusing. Also, this would be better off in the million page long wheel offset thread which is a sticky. http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56843

    Pics of wheels

Tons of people run them. I would guess they are the most popular wheel choice for the Mk3. I ran a set of N/A wheels for a few years. They are a large and decently light wheel with Toyota factory quality and the look suits the car. The only downside is the high offsets. Spacers can fix that if...

    Cup holder!!

I'm working on a cup holder that goes in the DIN slot under the stereo. It pulls out and has space for 2 cups. These cars make it a pain in the ass to add one. I hope I can get it to work. There are pics in my build thread.

    Post your Pre-89 bumper thread

I don't own a set but I've heard from owners that it gets rid of the flex felt when driving with the roof off.

You remember wrong. The point of them was to keep the car more rigid with the targa off.

    Fuel volume vs pressure

Interesting. I recently started a thread on the stock fuel lines and I was told that they were good for higher numbers than that. Why do you say they are only good for 450? This is very important to me because I am shooting for that amount of power and have stock fuel lines in the car.

    pulling 7mgte out trouble

I would hook the tranny back up to the engine and pull it out as a whole. Lining up the engine with the trans in the car will be a huge pain.

Sawbladz build. Lots of pics...possibly some progress.

Tonight again! I finished as much studying as I wanted to do by 11:30 so I went out and wrapped the rest of my manifold. Turned out pretty good. I don't like the metal zip ties. This should help keep the engine bay a little cooler and I think it looks better than the manifold did before. I...

Sawbladz build. Lots of pics...possibly some progress.

I love it. Just looks so right in there. This mod solved my coil pack dilemma and cleaned it up even more. Tonight I went out and wrapped 2 runners on the manifold. That stuff is not fun to work with. Gloves are recommended. I will definitely be picking up some silicone spray to shoot it...
