Spent some more money. Picked up a can of the DEI Silicone spray for the header wrap. Also got some mouting hardware for my oil cooler and some new Auto Meter gauges. I wanted them all to match and the silver faced oil pressure gauge was bugging me. A few hundred later and I have a new pyrometer...
You run whatever you can find because good tires in 16's are going bye bye. I had 225/50's in the front and 245/45's in the rear. It looked good and wasn't expensive. 275's don't exist in street rubber. I don't even think the 255/50 is made anymore but I haven't checked since I no longer have 16's.
The stock offset is +37, not +41 unless that is the offset for these wheels. Your post is confusing. Also, this would be better off in the million page long wheel offset thread which is a sticky.

Tons of people run them. I would guess they are the most popular wheel choice for the Mk3. I ran a set of N/A wheels for a few years. They are a large and decently light wheel with Toyota factory quality and the look suits the car. The only downside is the high offsets. Spacers can fix that if...
I'm working on a cup holder that goes in the DIN slot under the stereo. It pulls out and has space for 2 cups. These cars make it a pain in the ass to add one. I hope I can get it to work. There are pics in my build thread.
Interesting. I recently started a thread on the stock fuel lines and I was told that they were good for higher numbers than that. Why do you say they are only good for 450? This is very important to me because I am shooting for that amount of power and have stock fuel lines in the car.
Tonight again!
I finished as much studying as I wanted to do by 11:30 so I went out and wrapped the rest of my manifold. Turned out pretty good. I don't like the metal zip ties. This should help keep the engine bay a little cooler and I think it looks better than the manifold did before. I...
I love it. Just looks so right in there. This mod solved my coil pack dilemma and cleaned it up even more.
Tonight I went out and wrapped 2 runners on the manifold. That stuff is not fun to work with. Gloves are recommended. I will definitely be picking up some silicone spray to shoot it...
