An aftermarket downpipe will bolt to your stock second cat. There are quiet exhaust systems on the market. Mine as pictured below is a 3'' stainless cat back with a resonator. It may scare small children, but my exhaust is very resonable to live with. My wife drives the car to work occasionally...
I'm getting 8-9 psi, with just a k&N filter, cooleze 3'' downpipe, 3'' exhaust, lower turbo hardpipe. I have no boost controler.
Free up your exhaust, it makes a huge differance. I think the stock exhaust was meant to choke the 7mgte down.
You can have a near stock sounding 3'' exhaust...
You can put gravel in that engine bay now and hose it clean after a load. :)
I'm guessing the only place that stuff made a differance is on the firewall.

The shine parts look great as does the paint. I like the TRD badge you stuck in the "Hiro" spot on the lip. That front lip is my favorite....makes me want to finish the install! Nice work.

I just finished replacing the PPS valve to get my PS working again, I'm by no means weak, but the PS on a supra is a must have just for low speed safety.
Glad to have mine back.
