Greddy makes a BBK for the a70

Adjuster, my stock brakes work better than yours.....because my car actually runs. :) :) Those are nice brakes, but I'd go with Andy's set first. cwd

Power steering issues-New Pump and rebuilt rack

I've had my rack rebuilt for my front suspension rebuild, and my power steering pump was still whinning after a rebuilt pump and a rack. The power steering does not assist at all- lots of proper clean fluid (dexton III atf) and the reservoir screen was cleaned with almost all new ps lines. Still...

    Starter issues...I'm stumped.

FIXED! Looks like the small wire that goes to the starter positive was not getting enough amps as I am running the auto neutral start switch through the firewall and through the stock 5spd clutch neutral start switch. After correctly wiring an additional relay (I had not wired it...

    Starter issues...I'm stumped.

My ground wires are good. I've even added a new ground strap to the starter bolt-to the manifold support. I wish I had spare starter. I've jumped the neutral start switch at the plug and it still won't start. I really think there might be something wrong with the starter solinoid. The small...

    Starter issues...I'm stumped.

I just finished my auto to 5spd swap and after running the neutral starting switch through the clutch pedal switch, all was perfect. My '91 turbo would start, the cruise control worked with no issues. Then every time I tried to start the car, it took longer for the starter to begin to turn. I...

Steering Rack Boots Full of Oil???

There is Dextron ATF fluid inside the rack , but not inside the boot area as the boots are meant to keep out water and dirt from the inner tie rods and rack end seals. The pump feeds the rack, that is correct, and if everything is right, there should be no leaks, including inside the boots. You...

    Rack Boot Seal

You can do the seals, but you need special tools....I think Rajunz on SF did his himself. The seal kit is $60 I believe. cwd

    Rack Boot Seal

I would replace the lines if worn, because they are hard to get to when the rack is installed. I would also install poly steering rack bushings. cwd

5 Speed swap completed & Cruise control fixed!

Well I figured it out. I now have a 5spd, working reverse lights, cruise control is also working perfectly. I also have to push in the clutch to start the car, and when the cruise control is set, the clutch pedal cancels the cruise. The CC fix was done by taking the two wires used for the...

    folding mirrors

They look exactly the same, that's not the issue. You can't see behind you very well with mirrors that were made for RHD. All power folding mirrors were made for RHD. Put them on for a whole new "Blind Spot" experience. cwd

Anyone have a working cruise control after a 5spd swap?

I'm swaping my auto to a 5spd next week in Wa. State, but it seems no one has their cruise control working after the swap. Anyone know how to fix this issue? I'm guessing that the Auto ECU tells the Engine ECU when the cruise can run, (such as D, 1,2) so anyone have an idea how we can bypass...
