Nothing special, just a low mile 89+ front subframe with no rust and no damage. My original '91 subframe should have been replaced when it was wrecked years ago. Only one rack mount would clamp after welding it back many times. Rear lower arm bushings were worn out and I've been fighting to keep...
That's an Idaho Cherry picker! :)
I'm dropping the complete front subframe and replacing it with a better unit.
The motor is held up by the subframe, so the motor needs something to hold it in place when I perform the swap, hence the firewood :)...and chain.

I'm at a standstill with my current suspension build(waiting for a new steering rack) and was wondering what MKIII projects you working on right now. Show me the pictures :)
I've added new tems struts, bump stops, full poly suspension bushings, including front subframe mounts, new end links...

I finished polishing my modified 3000 pipe. All thats left is to touch up the lettering with a little red paint, and install. This is a combination of two 3000 pipes welded together by a friend. I had the joy of polishing.
I'm going to make or buy a 3000 pipe to intercooler pipe to...
The car looks great. The 1JZ install looks very clean. Love to the see the car in person someday. I'm very interested in the numbers you will make with some real boost. I keep thinking that the DM CT manifold set-up is a very reasonable way to go for little cash.

The car got 23 mpg on the freeway going 80 mph today. I can get from 23- 28 on the open road. Always a bit better at a lower speed.
Near stock '91 supra turbo, auto and full 3 inch exhaust.

Car is fixed. Left the CPS alone and fixed the out of adjustment TPS. Once the TPS with adjusted to specs, the timing was easy to set at 10 degrees with the jumper attached. Before with the bad TPS, the CPS could turn no further to fix my timing issue, once the TPS was fixed I had more than...
Thanks for being a dick. Moving on with more rote monkeys.
This is the first time I've ever had my CPS out or needed to adjust it. My CPS is set up exaxctly to TSRM specs and verified with two pictures of reference. My TPS is way out of adjustment and I have reset it with feeler gages and a...
Just reading another site and says that the TPS must be working and set correctly for base timing to work at the ECU. Looks like I'm going to test the TPS.
