What do u guys think would look better on my 87? The factory mkiii pearl (Diamond) or that new Starfire pearl on the IS250/350's? I am also open to other suggestions on what color white to paint it. Post pics if it's another color white. Thanks! - Ryan

Ok ok, I know I want pearl white but I wanted to get some opinions on what would look best. I don't want to paint my supra and then it not be liked by the supra community therefore making me wish I didn't paint it that color. If u guys aren't going to be posative than can a mod please delete this thread. Thanks

Just imo who cares what people think? And what what others say? That is the main flaw I see among the MK3 owners.. and it is being individuals.

I LOVE this color, in fact, I just posted about it in another thread on here...

From what I understand, Diamond and Starfire Pearl both havet he same pearl "effects", but Starfire looks a lot whiter than the Diamond Pearl...I would probably go with the Starfire...my favorite color EVER.

IMO, any kind of pearl white is fantastic and has always been my favorite. My Lexus has a custom paint job that is pearl white with blue pearl.

But, you do what you like. We aren't going to "not like" you because of the color of your car or what you do to it. Take Lamarosa for example. I don't really care much for his car. But, I don't bash him. I respect anything that anyone does to their car. Now, if they turn into an asshat, that's a different story.

Good luck on your endeavors and keep us posted.

pearls are a pain...

ANY body mods need to be done BEFORE the car is sprayed. Paint maching a pearl is next to impossible

Yea I realy dont get you guys. So what if people want to talk about their options... the guy might not have any friends that are into cars and/or supras, so this could be his only place to talk about this stuff. Plus, im sure some people on the forums arent self-proclaimed experts. They value the opinion of other car enthusiasts

Anyway, I definately think that Starfire pearl is the way to go.

Like someone said earlier in this thread, the starfire doesn't have the tanish-kacky look in it's highlights that pearl whites have. Starfire is just pure crystal white.

I have not been a big fan of white cars, but starfire pearl white looks fantastic!

pearl makes your car look dingy next to a regular white.

I second that. Pics of this Starfire you speak of? I know there is one colour on the new IS' that looks like complete SHIT. It looks almost like flat gray.
