Thats what happened when i toasted my clutch. I had an almost identicle situation........and i got the "smells like something burning" comment from the chic in the back seat. Few hundred dollars later a new clutch and no more problems.
If it gets some grip at lower RPM's with no boost and...
LOL......I wish i could say that much for myself. No leather or supramoniter. However i did a complete grey swap and got rid of my MAROON lovelyness. And I personally love my headlight squirters even if they don't do much.
I have a toyota corolla with 205k miles..........

I would also recommend that you get the injectors cleaned and flow tested before you put them into your car if they are...
I like the whaletails personally a lot better than the 87-88 style. I do like the 89+ as well but a lot of people have them. This is how i bought my car.
Check for codes? Start with that and see if you have any then proceed from there.
Mine had a problem with the coolant temp sensor and it would start and die right away.
A friend of mine used the pink coolant and it leaves a more noticeable mark when it dries and he found a coolant leak that way. Just be careful while you are losing coolant to not overheat your car or you will be replacing the HG. Also check your radiator for cracks or leakage.
Its a major pain in the arse. Its right by the differential.

If anyone has done this i need some help doing it. I saw Jeff's post on how to do it but i can't make total sense of it. I have a 89+ steering wheel and a combo switch. I know i can splice the wires on the back of wheel to make it work and use the same combo switch, but i would like to use...

That weird my friends 87 NA has smoked a lot of car especially hondas and its completely stock. He smoked a VTEC SI civic no problem and has beat a lot of cars like mustangs and cameros.
I had the same problem and just got new bump stops the old ones were stripped out from someone overtightening them and its hard to know about it until you go to replace them.
Just be careful so you dont ruin your new struts.
