Wiper motor removal

Ok, this is gonna sound dumb, but how do you remove the front windshield wiper motor? I couldn't find anything in the TSRM. I remember something in the haynes manual about using a screw driver to pry off a connection or something (lost the book somewhere in the garage ). Any help would be awesome.

I haven't done one of those in a while but iirc, you have to pop off the linkage from the motor. I don't remember if you can maneuver the motor from the firewall to do it or if you have to reach down inside the drain screens to do it.

Been awhile for me too but Im pretty sure you can pull the motor off the wall an inch or two and pry it off.

Which part do you actually pry on though? I can see what looks like a ball joint, but I can't get a good bind on it.

It is a ball joint it just pops off the linkage. You need a used one for a good price? :bigthumb: I took mine off pretty recently.
