I don't know...5th gen preludes had a plethera of engine choices iirc and some where pretty impresive. My na is simply a beater car...it's not the car that I take pride in...I'd have to find out what engine the kid has and that alone is too much effort for a turtle race.

because you didn't block the throttle port you just pumped compressed air into the block which can push out you rear main, front main, oil pump shaft, and cam seals...
Not a smart move but an honest mistake.
The stock ecu kills fuel upon decel so you'll get a lean reading.....on idle it bounces back and forth....crusing it will fluctuate a bit....full throttle it will read rich and stay rich...
Sound about right?
Your guage is showing you exactly how your ecu functions between closed and open loop;-)

The hks stopper is the popular route...
Both are good as well as a cometic which is cheaper than both and still a good gasket.
Your call...it really doesn't matter aslong as the prep work is good:-)
