i checked resistance on my old coil the primary was .5 ohms spec is .24 - .30 ohms so little high there, the secondary was 9.9 k ohms spec is 9.2- 12.4 so within spec there i have battery voltage going to the ignitior. so in theroy i should have spark coming out of the coil and i dont.

ok thanks for your help jetjock.
i dont know whats going on with the car its like its in a safe mode cause there is no fuel also. the cel doesnt turn on when i turn the key to the on position not sure if that its just the bulb or not i cant even check codes so im thinkin its just the bulb. i even tried the ecm i had laying around and it still made no difference. i am half tempted to just slap the other harness on and see what that does i am running an auto harness with a manual tranny but i have the pins jumped and its ran sevral months like that before. just trying to make this drivable til i get the 1j ready for it

I would just back track...check all your connections. If all you had was starter issue before what would cause you to lose spark and fuel after installing a new starter? Instead of swapping coils and changing the harness just back track and check every single connection in the area. Unless you had those symptoms prior to the installation. Hell, maybe it wasnt even your stater in the first place.

The only thing a supra likes is a large, fat wallet!

Or maybe he didn't unhook his battery cables when he removed the starter and the positive cable touched a ground and blew the fuse...just a guess
