    I think the rod journals are the same size (7M and 2J) I am not sure about the mains though.

    it can be a scratch start but I don't use it that way so no. Foot pedal, makes a world of difference. get one also :)

    I wouldn't hesitate recommending what I have. But if you are looking for something cheaper, the miller 180 is a good choice too. One other good name is thermal arc, I wouldn't mind having a 300tsw but that's an old model, they probably replaced it already. A water cooled torch is nice to have, too.

    They are XRP. The hoses are the HS-79(nomex/kevlar) with hypalon coating.
