    Oil weight and bearing clearances?

I am also running tight clearances on my 2j, within spec. I have been running it with castrol 5w30 and will switch to amsoil 5w30 after ~500miles. All oil lines are -12, with mocal 180 thermostat and 25 row cooler. I don't plan on running it the way Nash will run his. If I did, I would have set...

    Oil weight and bearing clearances?

If i were to run my motor this way, I'd set my bearing clearances loose but still within specs and use 15/50 oil and maybe even 20 50. Synthetic of course. Also, too much hot oil pressure can cause pitting on the bearings, so I will make sure i have an adequate oil cooling system and limit my...

    Aluminumized connecting rods?

Aluminized rods have more corrosion resistance compared to non-aluminized. This is very helpful if the motor sits outside (and not run) for a long time. HTH, Ron

    what brand clutch is this?

I think it's considered high performance because of weights that are added on the fingers, supposed to add clamping pressure. But I really don't know if the supra applications are any good.

Spec Multi disk party install completed!

Hmm I didn't think the whole thing was going to move with the bearing. I guess it don't matter. But on mine and Nate's, the slave stays put and only the piston and bearing actuates so the lines don't move. That's a little different in design. Awesome setup Duane!!! D...
