Aluminumized connecting rods?

So has any one ever herd of aluminumized connecting rods? Cuz i have a set for the 7m.

When I think aluminized, i think aluminized steel. Sounds just like stock rods coated w/ aluminum or something. I've never heard of it either.

Aluminum rods hold 1800hp? Doesnt seem like they'd hold up like titanium

I think thats what we're all trying to figure out.

well u see, aluminzation of said rods allows you to brag about having aluminized rods and a lighter wallet, which helps out with car weight reduction, therfore making your car faster and more responsive

Aluminized rods have more corrosion resistance compared to non-aluminized. This is very helpful if the motor sits outside (and not run) for a long time.

Well it was almost 3 years ago i bought an 87 na it blew the motor on the way home that night so i spent almost a year rebuilding it and what not then about 7 months later totaled it so i found a 89 turbo targa my whit car for 2500 with the motor pulled and torn down from a bhg so i bought it and converted my na to a turbo it ran great tuns of fun but hten i got a lexas maf from a budie and let say at the time i did not have much knolage and 21 pounds on a stock motor not so great but i make 310 hp and 380 tq at the wheels but it lasted about 3 days till i got what you see it was like 3 am doing 130 racing a mustang buillet.
