Mine would stick and engage very very low. It would grind if I tried to shift it, and it wouldn't come out of gear unless I shut it off..
the car in the first pics belongs to SupraNick on these boards..
they're hella 90mm headlights, retrofitted with custom fiberglass enclosures. Almost $1000 if I recall correctly..
get a high quality shift knob, like a Razo, that comes with a plastic slip that'll thread itself and hold on tight..
I've had the one in my 89 for 4 years, removed many many times, and it still holds on tight without crossthreading...
You can swap one iin, though...
Oh, Kangae, Walmart.com has yearly gold memerships for like, $40 I believe, there's a nice discount if you haven't renwed yet..
That's the thing, 89+ taillights are all the same...only difference may be the center piece...
Mine came off a 1G narrow body car, so it has different trim (hard ribbed plastic, no soft rubber strip on our trim) but the lenses themselves are all the same, regardless of equipment...
I believe BIC sells 89+ versions, as well as pre 89s..
