I would not just ground the fan to the ecu. I would run it off a relay. You can use pin 85 or 86 as the ground for the Stinger and connect the relay accordingly.
I find it odd that you are having issues and I am not. My turbo is a similar size and I am on stock coils with NGK 4644 Gapped to 0.028 and have run up to 14psi without anyblow out at all. I am even on 18 year old coilpack wires and waiting for the new ones to get here.
Is there anyone local that would be willing to swap coils so you can see if that is the issue? Before biting the bullet on new coils I would see if you can borrow some and hunt down this issue. Like I said you shouldn't have to gap that low at all. My 1JZ coils have around 35k miles on them and...
Good stuff man. I can't wait until I get my new pigtails. I have a feeling it is affecting my ignition. I even have an amplifier and it doesn't seem to help at all.
I would strongly suggest the Denso MK4 pump. It is more money than a Walbro but it is much more reliable. Also think about getting a fuel pressure regulator.
Just trying to figure out how to wire up the body plugs for an 87-89 Supra. I got the ignition wires to power the harness hooked up but I am just trying to figure out the dash wires, starter ect in the body harness.
I think you are doing everything right as far as ignition. Just inspect the coils and put on new wires. Most people will not believe how much better the coils will work with new wires.
I guess it depends on how much power you plan on putting down with the 1JZ. Anything less than 500hp and I would put in a Walbro 255. If you plan on making more than 500hp then you probably want to put in 2 walbros or a walbro and a inline pump
