    that sounds more correct, i did mine over a year and a half ago and cant rem. just test fit the engine w/o the intercooler piping and you will see where has to be knocked in and how much.

    i agree with honestabe, my 1jz runs a whole lot better and is more responsive with the 6097's I tried the platinum plugs and didn't like them.

    My 1jz had the same problem happen all of a sudden after a tune up, I tried changing the plugs, re-gapping them, shrink wrapping the coil packs, checking for leaks, check the ECU capacitors, tried a diff ECU, retuning my AFC(did great on the dyno only hit it once on 6 pulls) and a few other...

    just look in the vendor part of the forum, i know i have been very happy with driftmorion, 935motorsports, and HPF. They have helped me out so much. I agree with just buying the RHD 1jz instead of doing a RHD conversion, but all said you will love the 1j.

    drop the driveshaft, then pull off the two inspection plates on the bottom of the bellhousing, and take out the clutch bolts(the ones that bolt the clutch to the flywheel) then all you need is a long extension, a universal joint, and the socket, then go in from the back of the tranny you can hit...
