I didn't know what else to do since every part is nearly new lol. I know its not the smartest thing to do tho. :-)
Well since I've tried messing with the tension with no luck I'll replace the belt and try again.
Thanks everyone.
So what do you recommend ? Is it going to be bad for the turbo in such a way one shouldn't do it ?
I don't have much boost drop issues but i have a avcr that i can adjust by rpms to help keep the boost where I want it.
I do not have a/c fans anymore.
I don't not have a stock radiator nor am I having any cooling problems my car stays nice and cool just a stupid squeal when the fan starts sounding like a airplane or metro bus but when the fan is quiet all IS good.
I guess ill do a compression check.
My last compression check was about 2 weeks ago and everything checked out great.
I'm pulling about 17-18 vacuum at idle today.
I guess I'm not understanding something correctly...
Stock the port on the turbo has a line running to the port on the wastegate. With this mod ill be using the wastegate port and a new port on the intercooler pipe in place of the port on the turbo.
So thus leaving a open port on the turbo...
That's awesome info
Thanks Orion.
I have a few questions.
So I'm still running a CT26 turbo and stock wastegate setup.
Currently setup up using the factory nipple on the turbo.
My question is
Since ill be running one line from the wastegate to the solenoid and the other...

I figured its the clutch kicking on to cool the car.
Also I do not have a a/c belt.
And when i run electric fans instead of...
Good to know.
Also since i am on the stock ecu with nothing to tune.
I tried to mess with the AFPR a little but it didn't seem to help much so as of right now i'm at 36psi with the vacuum line off. I did notice that i when i set it at 36psi and came to check it after a drive the pressure was...
Ok so the last couple days it has been extremely humid where i live 90% or more which is very uncommon here normal year round is about 0-15%
Ever since the rain has started and the humidity has increased my car has started running very rich and pulling less Vacuum at idle and driving.
Vac...
7m is a strong engine that being said invest in tuning and your engine (which ever you choose) will last much longer.
I have a 7M with a 60-1 @ 18psi daily driven all stock internals and felpro head gasket with a 155,000 miles still pulling strong.
