OFF TOPIC but i didn't want to make another thread for this one question. I have a 1989 7mgte/5speed (Grey plug) and found a 1990 7mgte/Auto engine Harness is it plug and play for the 1989 ? If not what needs to be modified ?

Yeah I definitely don't have rod knock. Just a slight tick. I figured that knock sensors was for detonation or pinging.

So I have a code 52 ever since I did my hg job (finished about 2 weeks ago) I re wired the knock sensors with new clips and no luck next I'm putting new sensors in. But out of curiosity is it possible that code 52 can be thrown because I really do have detonation?. Other behaviours...
