ive been running 18-20 psi on a JT61GT and VPC combo for over a year and before that a similiar setup with the LEX/550s combo. No issues.
Honestly you don't need race gas for your level. the 57 trim and the lex/550s wont let you get to a point where it would matter. sorry dude.

minus a few scratches on the bottom of the can it looks like new. i clean the muffler with mothers metal polish once or twice a year and wax it about the same and it really keeps it clean. super drager ftw.
as far as the glasspack.... i like to listen to other things than exhaust all the time.
clogged injectors could do that, bad wiring to the injectors, a few things really. might want to contact supraguy88t as hes pretty good with the mk3 to say the least (has his own shop) if its a mk3 he can fix it.

its going to depend. look at your current ecu.
if the plugs are grey - you can use the 89+ ecu.
if the plugs are yellow - you need to find a pre 89 ecu.
yes you can run an auto tranny ecu in an manual car.
ron r used to make and sell them but hes out of the game currently. A FFIM is a pretty complex conversion and it depends on what kind of sacrafices you are willing to make.
