The game is called Trackmania - check it out here: http://www.trackmania.com/.

It has the ability to save a run through a track, and you can combine them later, so that you can view both runs at the same time and see what you did better or worse on each run.

A bunch of the users for this game decided that was cool. And they figured that anything cool like that would be COOL if there were larger numbers... so they recorded 1000 runs through that same track and combined them *all*.

They've done some with more than a thousand, now.

That was freakin awesome. I like the part where it looks like 2 cars splitting out of the tunnel, then it just fans out in all directions.

wouldn't you need a computer with a whole lotta juice to run all them cars in one replay without a whole lotta prerendering?

not really, its just ghost runs, prolly would take forever to load though

whole lotta rendering then, huh

LOL, yes, i should have read your post better, was in a hurry when i typed that. Its not prerendering/rendering that takes a fast ass computer, but when your actually playing a game that the computer has to do on the fly calculations, thats where lag and a good computer comes in handy. This just would take a ton of time for the comp. to accoplish.
