wow some of you have definitely spent money!!! Others have been lucky and bought cheap and had to do naff all hehe

I bought mine originally for $1200usd not running bhg on its way once i got it running lol
Raced for a year at the dragstrip & blew another bhg, pulled her off the road, then my mum stole my turbo and intercooler piping so i went aftermarket stuff to what it ended up today :)

So i would say i've probably put $10kusd in those 3 years so $11200 to date with an easy 250rwkw/335rwhp on 8psi :D :D

i got all of u beat! cant give an exact number. but not including what i did with my old 87, im well over $40k into the '89!

u may call BS. but every year i do something drastically different to the car and it adds up FAST!! thousand here thousand there. 2005 alone i spent close to $20k on the swap, wheels, interior and body work!!!

so can someone beat $20k in one year? (of course doesnt include gas and shit)

or $40k+ total since owned? :naughty:

ya i know i should feel like an idiot cause i will NEVER see half of that when i sell her! :(

bought the car for $1200 this September, and i've put like $600 into it since then, with intake, bov, and maintenance. with the rs*r cat-back i'm getting for Christmas (hopefully), i'll have a total cost of around $2300 spent within 3 months including cost of the car. with a dishwashing job and only working 3 days a week, i think i'm doin alright.

$900.00 for the car
$2200.00 approximately for the GTE engine rebuild. That includes some extra goodies I got and some addtional labor.

Lot's of other shit that I refuse to keep up with $$$ wise. The car is a money pit, but I  it.

Next year, I'm planning to spend as little money as possible.

I have other things I want to do next year other than spending the majority of my income on poopra stuff.

It's already got 400hp potential as soon as I get off my ass and tune it. That's enough for me.
