I've got a 3" turbo-back with a 12" dynomax resonator where the cat used to be, the it runs back to a 24" magnaflow 3"in2-2.5"out 18" muffler body. The DP is ceramic coated (I suggest that on ANY downpipe) and resonator/piping/muffler was properly prepped when new, with two thin coats of 1200F black paint with 10 minutes between them and finished immediately with one thick coat. I like the all-black and twin outlet look, it's ninja. It's gone thousands of miles and held up to some impressive dings and scrapes without issue.

I will always coat/paint my exhausts when new, it's cheap insurance that I'll be able to use it for a long time to come.

I got one of the HKS 75mm Turbo Exhausts way back in 1998. Before installing it I had the entire thing ceramic coated - except the insides of the resonator and muffler and the polished tips. I've had this thing on for nearly 10 years now and until 2005 the Supra was my daily driver. That thing is holding up VERY well.

3" coated DP, with full 3" stainless pipe almost straight back to an HKS Dragger muffler. Sounds perfect, save for a little rash underneath, it's in great shape. It's been used for over 4-5 years i'm sure.

the turbo should kill alot of the sound, but to each their own

unbolt your cat, drive it for a week like that. see how it sounds and how you like it.

the blitz nur is re-god-damn-diculously loud but man thats a nice sound to visit, just wouldnt want to live with it.
