a block of aluminum will last, and if you clean it up, it will look professional. if you want to pay $100 to get the same performance as a $20 item will get you, thats your choice.

do most gauges use the same type of sensor? the used blitz oil pressure gauge i bought didnt come with a sensor, and i was told i could wire it into the stocker. should i order a replacement blitz sensor, or is it safe to use the stocker? (i dont care about having the stock gauge work)

i don't know if he is still doing them, but PIONEER here on SM used to rebuild 7Ms, and from what I found, his track record is excellent. maybe he could help you out, but you would need to ship the engine to him.
