I have had a lot of emails and pms about these, so I now have a group buy going. The GB is for solid Nylon subframe spacers, there is 6 spacers per set that go between the rear subframe and the chassis. These really tighten up the rear end and do wonders to help with wheel hop. Click on the link below for info.

So there are only 6 bolts that hold the rear subframe on? I think what I may do is drop mine before I put the motor in... Ive never inspected it, and I think it might be a good idea to reinforce it some... Any pointers on where I should look to strengthen and where cracks tend to form?

Yes there is 4 bolts at the front mounts and two nuts at the back. You should be able to lower it enough to pull the bolts out, remove the stock rubber spacers and install the Nylon ones with out disconecting any brake lines suspension etc.

The subframe usually cracks at the front lower diff attachment points, and above the front above the diff on the cross beam. the thing is once a bolt lossens off a bit, the diff moves around and crack start to form.

I also made some weld on crossmember plates to strengthen it up, and I have templates that I plan getting laser cut and making them availabe to you guys, but I have too much going on right now, they will be available this spring/ summer.

I also plan to make some solid ones for the front crossmember too, but one thing at a time.
