Canadian rebuild

ok so im getting closer to having some cash put away to get the supra possibly moving under its own power. only problem is not too sure what to do with it. Car is sitting in stettler(45 min east of red deer) and i dunno if I should just send it too a local mechanic in town and have them and the local machine shop rebuild it. Only thing im worried about is if they know what there doing with my jdm 7m-gte:aigo:. Would also like a mhg put in but i dunno if the machine shop in town is cable of that or not. I wouldn't mind taking it too red deer too a more reputable shop but mabye costing too tow it there could be nasty $$$$ so not too sure what my options are lol. Also any shops in alberta that will do a 1jz swap?? and would this be just a cheap as getting a shop to rebuild my 7m or not??

I dont know how far the car is from Red Deer but I had a Car towed from BArrie to Oshawa by CAA. I think they do up to 120 km. Might be worth is because the tow itself would cost way more than the membership.

yep, jamie is right. My brother bought a membership just to tow 80 kms. well worth it..

ok well thats nice to hear and all but what am i looking at price wise for this rebuild?? 1jz should i even consider it?? help anyone....???

i don't know if he is still doing them, but PIONEER here on SM used to rebuild 7Ms, and from what I found, his track record is excellent. maybe he could help you out, but you would need to ship the engine to him.
