    wideband placement

If you read the directions while installing your wideband, the sensor should be 36 inches downstream. Mine is in my test pipe. Closer than 36 inches, and you are going to burn out your sensor more frequently. Knowing this, I can't understand the wideband bung on the Lipp Elbow. I would agree...

what is the best way to be 100% sure my motor does not get rod knock?

Just follow your directions strictly, and things should be OK. Just overtorque the head over the torque spec.

What to do Cause I AM STUCK

I was going to suggest the plan that you have. But, I'll tweak it a lil for you. Put the Supra together, and do a little racing this summer in it. You may learn to like it. Repair what needs to be repaired on it. I really like the front bumper, if it weren't broken. Put off making a decision...

what is the best way to be 100% sure my motor does not get rod knock?

Right, someone was going to say it. But, for it to come from a 1jz'd jealous friend of the 7M king, might not be the right way.:biglaugh: This info taken straight from your sig. This was the info I was about to bring in, but while posting noticed there was a new reply. So, I will add that...

Soon to be a new owner of a Supra

If you don't do the MHG correctly, and put the money into having the head AND block decked, you would have done better with a stock gasket. Do not ever give a seconds attention to the TSRM torque spec for the head. That is the cause of the notorious BHG with the 7M. If built right, the 7M IS...

how do I remove a driver seat with motor out of car

To help others in a search.......What I did was, I connected the two battery cables back to a battery, making sure to connect the auxiliary wire to each to each cable. I also made sure that the opposite ends of the cables were not touching anything at all. This powered the car, and I simply...

    Whos supra is this?

That car will sell higher than you would think because of that interior. And, I bet that towel in the drivers seat is not there to get the driver high enough to see over the steering wheel. I see a part out in the cars future. I crashed my 90 really hard, and didn't bow my inner fender like...

Dumb Newbie question ( I need a picture)

Are you talking about this piece? It has the two black hinges that mount it to the black riser behind the seat. Here's a couple of old pictures. Maybe the underside picture will help as I am unsure what you are asking for. They are somewhat small. I do have 2 or 3 of these in my shed, so I can...

Cleaning engine bay, what to use?

Are you going to have it sprayed, or are you just cleaning it up? I used simple green and a little toothbrush looking wire brush on mine before having it sprayed. No ill effects.
