That's an ugly looking frame rail, that's for sure. I'd try to take the settlement, and buy back the motor. There are California bodies on here all the time I wish I could have. Get a truck and trailer, and travel a little bit if you have too. I just made a 1200 mile round trip (no...
George, I'm in shock! It's like I have lost a family member. It wasn't an impaired pregnant woman in a dry county was it??????
I know John has made an offer already, but I have an 89 3E5 body I will offer as well. And you should know, that I'm just a phone call away to help along the way.
I just got home and got the flywheel off of my motor. It hit me while working today, that I did not use any sealer on the bottom edge at the oil pan. Sure enough, once the flywheel was off, it was obvious that the oil came from right there. Nothing else has any sign of oil on it anywhere.
What...
IJ, Is that an old picture of David's? Did he get those from you? What do you know about them? Was I lied to about the costs of them? That looks like exactly what I have.
Bryan, can you verify if a 91 and 92 would be the same? How about the differences between the 92 and that 90 BernieK posted? Is the o2 the only difference? An oxygen sensor wouldn't be so hard to find, and $420 doesn't sound so bad with no wait.
I rarely ever use air tools myself, even though I have plenty. The thought crossed my mind, but it was dark and getting late for my retired neighbors on both sides. Maybe tomorrow evening before it gets late, or possibly at lunch.
Here is a little of an update. I did get the tranny back off tonight, and so far I see no oil anywhere. the clutch is dry as can be. That's a great thing, as it is a brand new Driftmotion 6 puck kit. I was unable to break the flywheel bolts without a helper holding the crank bolt. So, I don't...
The engine and transmission were connected, and the motor was at the top, with the transmission hanging. If the tranny fluid had leaked, it would hit the ground. But it was oil, dripping down into the bell housing. The puddle was not deep enough to have caused any trouble with the tranny. It...
I recently replaced my first rear main seal. My motor has 1 quart over full level of oil. After replacing the seal, I attached the transmission, and lifted the whole set up high enough to snug the pressure plate , while working standing up instead of bending over working. I should have used my...
Thank you for getting this thread back in order! I'm subscribed for the pictures. This is probably the best section of the country to do this with. I want to see more!
MA71.........nice pics!
This thread is kinda what I was hoping to see when I subscribed to the massively de-railed NW pictures Thread.
Very nice pictures of all 4 cars. Ernest, if you are lurking, your car is sex.
