I have the combination switch in my parts thread (link in my sig), and it is starting on ebay tonight because the thread is dying a slow death. It is from an 89. That could be an upgrade for you, or it may not work at all in the earlier car, I don't know. And, Yes, I have had that problem in 2...

Billy Mays dead @ 50... celebrity spaceship taking off?

It's coming from the music world again. I say Scott Weiland of Velvet Revolver/Stone Temple Pilots fame (drug OD) My wife says Courtney Love. She probably is only 65 pounds now. The wife probably has the better guess.

    Speedo issues yet again!

Pisses me off to read 3 (or more) pages with the answer, making sure it hasn't been posted, and find out I was right just before the end. If you don't secure the cable in all locations, it will flex, and cause problems.

    Sad day for the 89

Today's brand of suicidal coward is so cowardice that they can't even go alone! Why couldn't she have just hung herself prior to involving someone else?????? Or, how about seeking out some help?

    Give me your opinions please...

Yep, sounds like $3600 takes it. If he's considering $3500 an extra hundred ought to seal the deal. but, he may be saying that to every offer, and try to stall you some more. If he does that, come back in a day or two with $3500 cash.

    Give me your opinions please...

Interior is Gray, but is it leather or cloth? That could make a $3500 - $4000 decision right there. But if it has rips, beware that leather is not cheap to replace. I hate black! But as was said before, if he has receipts for the work done, it sounds like a steal.

Cleanest MK3 I've ever seen in Colorado

^ I looked at the first few pages and last couple of pages of your build today, since you have been a recent help to me. I must say you are definitely qualified to doubt my claim. I must spend some more time in that build tonight.

    ForcedTorque's Slick/Quick Build

Not at all Dave! There will be no Grey or white parts on this one. I am transferring everything I need to make a complete car out of the partially parted out 92 I bought. all of my body mods are a part of the long time vision, but the 92 will not be 4 colored. The Bomex will get transferred...

    ForcedTorque's Slick/Quick Build

I actually did make some progress today. This week, I ran a thread asking if my current wiring harness could be modified, and I got some really great advise out of it. All I have to do is buy several Toyota wiring connections and do some tedious wiring removal, and reinsert the wires into new...

Cleanest MK3 I've ever seen in Colorado

:bsflag: While the car is very beautiful, I gotta cry foul on the mileage. I believe at least the full 10K was spent in the restoring/detailing of this car. Look at the pedals. They missed that step of the clean up. They look to me to be used a little more than I'd expect to see in a car...
