    That "cube" is the ABS braking unit. If your 89 never had ABS you won't have it.

    Well, I used your wiring diagram, and verified it with the TSRM and zeitronix instructions. I am certain it is correct. 1989 turbo, TPS is on the red/white VTA, VF is on the grey wire. Still no luck. By the way, thanks for putting in the effort to do that wiring guide.
