yup, starting issue happened on my 86.5. Had my friend perform the 12v relay mod on it, hasn't had a single issue since..!

it's not hard at all to swap out gauges, it's literally held on with 2 screws, just take out the cluster and have at it with a screw driver, you need to remove the vents and a few small outer screws, but it pops right out..

89+ Actuators changed and resulted in more power, but not much, maybe 2 hp? But 10~ lbft of torque. nothing too radical...

apparently you don't know what "literally" means.. a stuck heater valve would always blast heat, and the heater core is always circulating if the CC is set anything above 65...

might be as simple as a ground, make sure everything's the way it should be... the TSRM has all the grounds and their locations..

your driver's side interior door handle (the door pull) is off a pre-89, 89+s are thicker and rounder... just busting your balls about it..

The hub should be the same, my steering wheel is off a 98 Supra, so it shouldn't make a difference..
