once you get it open, unbolt the "pulling arm" and attach some velcro to both sides while you source a new cable. That way it'll remain shut, but you'll be able to open it, and remove the velcro once you fix it..

sometimes the cable stretches out.. replace it, but be warned, you have to remove almost the entire interior..

yeah, +11 on not removing the trim pieces, I can never get the keyring to line up with the hole after removing...

nice! that's a common mod on MR2s, to move the wing rear-ward.. just fill in those holes; I'd hate for her to contract car-cancer from them..:(

thanks for the comments..:D technically, a BOV should be as close to the throttle body as possible, but I wanted the stealth factor. If you pop my hood, you can't see it, and can only see it if you come in at an angle from the passenger side to the front, which no cop will do.

simply there's air in the system. Either it wasn't burped completely or as mentioned BHG, etc, can be many different reasons..
