sounds like the problem I had, and it was the CPS wiring. I was having intermittent connection issues with it, wouldn't start. maybe repin the wires, or cut the connector and add a new one? you can get new stock connectors from a vendor in the misc vendor section i think
edit...
I can afford it. I mentioned the price , because it is higher than their competition, so lowering it may increase the number sold... higher numbers sold leads to less cost per unit leads to increased profit...
Don't assume that people questioning a price is becuase they can't afford it. SM...
seems like a pretty high price. Rons manifold are hand built and top notch quality for less.
not trying to shit on your product, it looks great, I just think you may sell more if priced differently.
I'm using a metric o-ring adapter fitting (I think it was 14mm) to -8 braided lines to a PVC block I got CNC cut, then I'm running aluminum 1/2" hardline to the catchcan.
how can you hold the crank pulley while torquing the balancer bolt? it won't hold with the car in gear, just turns the motor. is an SST required or is there an easier/different way of holding it?

for 1k, id buy it, but there is never anything like that around here. motors are cheap. if you can't handle it, there may be shops around that can either fix the BHG or just swap in a new motor.
look in the for sale section for someone parting out a car. keep in mind that if the previous owner removed that, the heater core may be leaking too, and its a bitch to replace.

and as poodles says, it's not backpressure, its exhaust flow. when people say something increases backpressure, what it ACTUALLY means is a restriction in flow.
if you still don't believe me, go take a mechanical engineering...
