Heater components, what do I need?

Well, the previous owner decided that he didnt want to pay for a new A/C component so he did this:

That's right, its a manual lever lol. I was just wondering if anyone had a picture or new the # of the part that I need to replace this and get my a/c working again cause having to top off doesnt cut it when your at a red light or in traffic

Looks like what you're missing is this:

It's part of the heater control, controls the flow of water into the heater core. You'd also likely need the two hoses. Not sure of the p/n, don't have my EPC working atm. Hope that helps a bit.


There's also a vsv mounted there, but you can't see it well in the pic. Iirc, one of the Camry units is the same/similar enough (Toyota can't get the Supra one anymore, apparently). Mine is a Benz unit anyway, so a pic of it wouldn't help much

look in the for sale section for someone parting out a car. keep in mind that if the previous owner removed that, the heater core may be leaking too, and its a bitch to replace.

Not really as the stock valve doesn't ever completely close...that valve does.
