Im going to AN fittings for the PCV system.....I am wondering what size I should use....I tapped the valve covers for 1/4" but its looks like it may be too small paired with -6 line. What about 3/8 and -8 line?
I am runing -6 on my NA, but I think -8 would be better, especially for a turbo engine.
But if your tapped at 1/4" already, then -8 hose after that would only be marginally better,
since the ID of the 1/4" is the choke point.
What I did on mine, was to drill the ID of the fitting out.
Since it's low pressure, there is no chance of the fitting failing.
I'm using a metric o-ring adapter fitting (I think it was 14mm) to -8 braided lines to a PVC block I got CNC cut, then I'm running aluminum 1/2" hardline to the catchcan.
