dunno if it will help or not, but if you have a divided housing on the turbo, you could try running this: http://www.spracingonline.com/store/Sound_Performance_Quick_Spool_Valve/3643
reference on SM: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85016
you will need a sign telling people to keep their hands and small children away from that turbo. wow.
does the turbo manifold leave enough clearance for the oil filter, or are you relocating that?
lip spoiler, like those available for BMWs like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/E46-325CI-328CI-330CI-M3-CARBON-FIBER-TRUNK-LIP-SPOILER_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem563484a544QQitemZ370248295748QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
is that 20% off "list price" or 20% off "purchase price"? alot of vendors offer the turbos at 15+% off "list price" with no GB required, that's why I ask
1st step get a full height tool box. get one with lots of drawers, but make sure there are a few deep drawers for larger items. also, cheap shelving units to store parts on, rather than leeping them in boxes.
i borrowed a labelmaker as well, labelled all the drawers so tools are easy to find...
probably wants to know so he can go to a local meet (revscene in vancouver, correct?). likely a temporary fix to get rid of the noise from the pump.
you can loop the line, or just remove the belt from the pump. it will be a bitch to steer at low speed, but it will work short term.
do you have gauges to watch boost and water temp? imho those are a must, the stock gauges are crap.
just install the ddp without a boost controller, and see what boost you hit. you might not even need a boost controller (although it would be beneficial), you can just shim the wastegate.
you can try finding pulley stock that matches the stock size from here, I've used them in the past: https://sdp-si.com/eStore/
I don't know what the stock size is, but if you find it please post.
nothing wrong with making your own if you do it right. I would imagine some time on a lathe would be all you would need, and then getting them balanced after.
