    Codes

12 is an ignition issue. You could try jiggling your CPS wires. Personally I would solve 51 first and then tackle 12. 34 is no biggie, just boost cut. 51 your TPS is out of alignment http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/

THought about getting this camera, wonderin if anyone had a review

www.dpreview.com if you want to do some in depth researching. Great site about digital photography. I use a Sony camera for all my shots, been very impressed with the past 3 Sony's I've purchased. Canon also makes some really good cameras. I would stay far away from no name brands.

    Tranny Problem

You can try some good tranny fluid, like Redline MTL, if you don't already have it, at best you'll extend your driving time a little. Unfortunately you're going to need a tranny rebuild sooner or later.

    black smoke under load

Drive it a bit more and see if the smoke goes away. Generally black smoke is a rich air/fuel condition. The most common causes are boost leak, faulty afm, faulty O2 sensor, or faulty ignition system. If you're going to not drive your car for long periods of time you need to take precautions...

    Rod knockin blues

Rings are cheap. Pistons can get expensive but aren't too bad. Personally I would never reuse rings unless I was 100% sure they were in perfect condition.

    Rod knockin blues

Machine work usually runs $300-1200 depending on how much work needs to be done and of course the actual machine shop you bring it to. A gasket kit is in the $300 range. The rest just depends on how in depth you want to go. You can usually reuse the rods and pistons, but some people replace...

    Identifying Head.

Machine shop can measure it and tell you how much has been taken off. Whatever has been taken off you try to replace with a thicker HG (assuming you're going with a MHG). Being off a little bit is no big deal, but you want to try to keep it close to stock compression.

Are you a Veggy? or not?

I could do without red meat. I rarely get a craving for a hamburger or steak, but I couldn't live without meat period. I enjoy fish, chicken and pork regularly. I eat red meat maybe a couple times a month.

    Acceleration and coasting dead spot.

Check for engine error codes. The existence of a code is not always reflected by the CEL until you actually perform the check.

crank no fire with white smoke out exhaust

34 is just FCO, it wont affect how the car start up or runs. 71 could be a problem. Try this: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?Section=FI&Page=48

    Leaky Fuel Rail

Check to see if the rail is seated properly. Clean the spacers, head and fuel rail. Make sure all 3 bolts are seated all the way in. It's unlikely that the rail is warped, so I'd check seating first.
