Thanks for clearing that up. Not sure why I haven't been seeing the updates on this thread tho.
It now has red mud flaps too. I just can't get the damn thing to start, so I can get it out for another picture with them on. I don't like my sig picture so much anymore. The goal is to make the...
400, 500, 700 HP, it doesn't matter. Those will all get you a 12 second car. I think you sound like you are making better sense shooting for 400. You need to learn the car at that level before going any higher anyway. Make sure you research the head gasket procedures, and stick to them strictly...
If this was out of adjustment, could it be the reason my car won't start now? It is something that I played with either shortly before it quit running, or right after it quit. As I said earlier, someone else had adjusted it before, and I was having idle problems, so I tried to see if adjusting...
Well yes.........and no! I wrote that tongue in cheek, but if I knew who this was, my unemployed ass would spend 44 cents on a stamp as I go to ship other packages this week.
Too many people in this world are terrified of doing any act of kindness these days. This guy is a member of our...
Or maybe it's because paypaling someone 50 cents is kind of silly??????? it's not like some of these guys who answer your $150 part for sale with "Will you take $31.50 shipped, cause that's all I got right now". We don't know the real reason for the request.
We do know he is a dumb ass for not...
A guy asks for 50 cents worth of charity and a little bit of effort, and 3 pages of you cold hearted bastards/cheap ass MKIII owners can't do one kind act for a guy that is down on his luck? Maybe he is just testing the MKIII community.
+1
I can pull a dash in about 15-20 minutes. The only thing hard about it is knowing which bolts to take out. The first time I pulled one, I thought I had to remove every bolt I could see.
I posted some pictures in a thread within about the last month of the bolts you need to pull to get...
The SAFC should only be 8 wires. I have the Neo, which is the newer version, and it only has 8. I can't help but wonder if my problems are in that wiring. I am looking into the wiring diagrams that your post in my thread motivated me to find. I will be soon chasing those 8 wires before anything...
You would be better off waiting on a turbo 5-speed car with a blown head gasket for cheap. Where is Cencal? Is that Central Cali? If so, you should be able to find what you need fairly quick. I'm always seeing cars I wish were closer in the for sale section that are in Cali. You will want a...
Is it definitely a gasket? It also looks like it could be one of the plates that goes in a 5-speed shifter. It's hard to see anything but flat metal in that picture, on my monitor at least.
Also, you may not need the entire cable. The most common piece to go bad is the lower part, that is about a foot long. You may try pulling you instrument panel and the lower piece of the cable. Spin the cable from the bottom, and have someone tell you if it is spinning at the top. If it is, you...
