    Yet Another Clutch Problem

    Converted from an A/T to an M/T on a gravel floored garage with plywood under the car using TWO jacks after driving front wheels up on ramps and putting cinder blocks under rears BY MYSELF using a junk-o 3/8" hand ratchet and extensions!:aigo: I would suggest a 14mm SIX-point...

    Arizona Performance Wilwood Front/Rear Brakes

    ^^^ I would have to agree. In fact, the suggestion that 4 were adequate came FROM ANDY, as you can "hang your passenger in the belts" NO PROB with the fours. (Of course, if you LIKE to stop on a dime with JUST your pinky toe...) Not to DISCOURAGE the 6-pots, but after being SO CLOSE with my...

    Arizona Performance Wilwood Front/Rear Brakes

    After discussion with Andy, considering I ONLY drive "street" with no auto-x, and since the 6-pots can "break motor mounts":naughty: if hit TOO hard TOO often... (perhaps not THAT violent... but if you can CHIRP them on decel with the 4-pots from triple digits... it becomes a matter of...

    Arizona Performance Wilwood Front/Rear Brakes

    Man, I don't know about the 6-pots, but looking at YOUR rims/spokes to stock rotor, it LOOKS like MORE clearance is there than my Solara rims, which are only 7.5" wide. (I forget the off-set... but DID use the spacer.) My install was a straight-up bolt-on affair as Andy said. ONLY "extra"...

    Arizona Performance Wilwood Front/Rear Brakes

    17" rims (from 2004 Solara!;)) using a 1/4"? spacer (offset is JUST a little tight for comfort) and my 4 piston 13's clear by MAYBE 2mm! VERY VERY tight, but NO ISSUES after the first couple thousand miles of HARD use!:biglaugh: ...I think I have a pic, but it's not too clear on the...

    Arizona Performance Wilwood Front/Rear Brakes

    I know this doesn't answer the questions "specifically", but my car IS ABS, but I believe it's NON-functioning (went from A/T to M/T and anti-lock light is always "on" now... ) and put the 4-pot Wilwood kit from Andy on the fronts ONLY so far... and can CHIRP the fronts if I "stab" at the pedal...

    :::OFFICIAL CHI2K9 ITINERARY THREAD::: Aug 6-9, 2009

    Hmmm... would LOVE to make this! I'm needing my R154 swapped (already have a "spare" lined up... but need to pick it up and install...) and will have my 61GT w/BOSS housing in by then, I suspect. We'll see how it goes... may also need to swap the pig when I do the tranny... -crisp

    Spark blowout?

    RICH = STUTTERING... Sometimes.;) I know if I turn up my fuel, it will stutter at PRETTY rich... and FALL ON IT'S FACE if you DUMP a load of fuel... especially under transition INTO boost. -crisp

    Hot Weather Run... BETTER ANGLE NOW!

    That's the "mid-point" where I met up with the car's owner when we made the deal back in '95 when I bought it! We did the transaction in the McDonald's just south off SR 30. I took my FIRST test drive in this car on the four lane out front in mid-February weather. ...funny... I JUST passed...

    Hot Weather Run... BETTER ANGLE NOW!

    That's the CT-26 with H3 trim (T04b-type, I believe) by TEC. (Turbo Engineering Corp.) I don't know if they still do these for our cars... it was a loooong time ago when I picked this one up, but I did use two of them over the years, and they both served (and continue to serve) me well...
