LMAO! If you ever SAW a person NEEDLED... (I mean LITERALLY SEWN-IN) to one of these machines in an automotive trim processing plant (cut-n-sew operation) you'd understand EXACTLY what Grim's "point" implies!:aigo: (You holler MECHANIC first... then once freed from it's "clutches", head up...

Hot Weather Run... BETTER ANGLE NOW!

Yeah, I'll try that arrangement again, but lower. It's really TRICKY to get a mount that is SECURE enough to be stable and HANDLE the acceleration, side-load, and deceleration g's! I'm missing a center neck (pipe) w/ball-head that would improve my flexibility in view, but I'm looking for it.;)...

Hot Weather Run... BETTER ANGLE NOW!

Tried a different camera mount and angle today! Another "practice" run, but if I get the exposure right, this might be a good view.;) ...what do you think? http://s100.photobucket.com/albums/m26/crispone/crispvids/?action=view&current=R0019986.flv

EARLY model! But a testament to how GOOD they were, and still are.;) In one of my lives, I was part of a "team" that designed a special "one-off" machine made with two Adler 462's? set diagonal from each other, one REVERSED and refitted to run BACKWARDS and we were able to create an...

It's always good to take on new challenges, and especially when you try to do things yourself.;) One more suggestion, turn your trim cover inside out, and photograph the sew seam construction carefully. (Or keep an intact trim cover for reference...) Try to "mimic" what you see in the...

mod getting out of hand ie Jdub

...on a lighter note... my forum-ass is still stinging from the perforated-paddle-ass-whacking that I got from Jdub recently as well... Fortunately, I was able to see the evil of my ways clearly, and avoid the jury of piers a foray into the public eye with my learning-curve would have swung...

Hot Weather Run... BETTER ANGLE NOW!

Really appreciate the kind words! I feel like I'm doing this all in a "vacuum" sometimes, as my networking is limited mostly to this forum... and my general agenda is "stealth" and "sleeper" (i.e.: DON'T attract much attention!;)) so my exposure is pretty limited to such tomfoolery as this...

Hot Weather Run... BETTER ANGLE NOW!

...also did a quick dog-leg with sweep to 140 and back down hard to a walk.;) (Looking back, wish I had hung-it-out a bit in the 2nd gear right entry, and stuck in it for the 3rd gear sweeper before the straight... but it was just a practice run, and one of my first clips of a pull, so I...

Hot Weather Run... BETTER ANGLE NOW!

EDIT: LATEST ANGLE = POST #17 Just a quick clip I did as a "practice session" for my camera mount. I think I need to try diffused lighting in cooler weather, and make a more aggressive run for the keeper-clip.;) Here it is at about 14psi (scramble at 16ish)...

Either that, or get some replacement OEM SERVICE PARTS or PROTOTYPE parts direct from the manufacturer through connections...;) When the platform is JAPAN MFG, it makes this type of option nearly mute. (I DID get my entire set of Toy P/U truck bench trim for my dad's p/u this...

Know which model? How complete? (And how $$$ did you get it for!?:biglaugh:) PS: Is it 220v as many are? The machines often require VERY VERY VERY expensive motor/electronic peripheral devices to be usable, not to MENTION the proper TABLES and other array of parts, folders, feet...

You should track down an ADLER (German) JUKI (Japanese) or other COMMERCIAL grade USED machine (good luck!) if you really want to do this, or find someone with one and take it to him. (Not to mention REALLY FAMILIARIZE yourself with the project scope! Even USED machines like this go for MANY...

    7M-GTE No comression Cyl 2 and 5

A little puzzled by the #2 AND #5 at the same time, but a STUCK VALVE will give ZERO compression. (Dropped seat, etc... or otherwise stuck valve... but why TWO cylinders? Still thinking...) BHG can AND WILL show "0", but it'd have to be a pretty bad BHG to "0" on BOTH cylinders, I'd...
