Nice progress, Chunks! Curious on that a340e as well! I still have my HKS BUILT (RARE!) a340e that needs a rebuild from glazed plates (diff backlash) but I'd LOVE to go back to the A/T from manual someday! Especially with the bigger turbo and desire to alleviate shift/lag. Can't wait to just...
I call FAIL!!! (I have FOUR kids and am ALWAYS broke these days!!!:()
Seriously... there are MANY things MUCH higher priority than our cars, Miguel! Very satisfied knowing that you are simply OUT there... with the omens of things to come etched in the walls of SM like the Mayan Calendar...
So... I reread a few pages back, and can't remember if we answered the question: Does the STOCK gauge wander above "mid-point" (rise toward the red) at any point in time? (Or was it REPLACED altogether with the aftermarket, and subsequently more responsive gauge?) ...not always HELPFUL if the...
Awesome, Dave! Now I need to get some hard numbers up! I'd be happy just to get a glimpse of my current 15psi range "baseline" with Ian's top-end setup... even though the FFIM is still a ways out there before I swap!
Sheesh, that really is a good hit between 3~4 already!

Sorry about the blown ring, Ryan! VERY IMPRESSIVE numbers there! I'm gonna have to hold mine down with the stock bottom end, and especially without some meth/water! Hoping to get a 500 ticket without pushing too hard... hate to wait for your next round to be done!

Egg cartons or fish tackle boxes and small Tupperware work well. Also gotta have a couple/few of those magnetic base bowls for sockets and "groupings" of nuts and bolts as you remove them. Either that for short-term stuff... or if you're doing it for a LOOONG time (if you are not sure... it...
^^^ There's the front one with that little heat shield thingy...:)
I did the rear hose since I had some parts off on the hot-side...:biglaugh: ...it took about 15 min. with the car already down to the point I have it. Used regular Channel Lock needle nose on the front clip, and a...
Welcome to...
...LUDICROUS SPEED...
(The speed that COULD have been... but ends up residing in a blaze of smoke and flame and melted polymer splooge glazed across the pavement.)
Can't WAIT to see some video!:biglaugh:

Kudos on searching until you found something behind the symptom! So if the cause of failure is the bushing walking out to the seal... why did it walk? (Just thinking it will/could do it again even if fixed?)
G/L with the fix! Hope it solves your issue!:)

WOW! That shed is EPIC! Not so much in the "hugeness" of it, but the adequacy of it's size and form to be the PERFECT MATCH for my dream building!
...I'll be settling for about half that and lower walls, but VERY happy if I can see THAT come to fruition!:p
Looking really nice!;)

Hmmm... I was curious because after 15 years with my car, and MOST of those miles with at least an upgraded hybrid turbo, my stock bottom end is holding up very well. (SO FAR! ...fingers crossed?) That and considering how many struggle with head issues at some point, especially when first...
