Extreme drifting! Most impressive driving I have ever seen. I thought, what kinda import is that? Honda? Subaru? Lo and behold, its a Ford!

The freeze-your-a$$-off temps really put a damper on the Indy2k10 meet. We parked, look at the cars quickly, then went in search of heat. New this year at the Winged Warrior event was drifting. Lots of fun to watch. Here is a pic of one of the two MKIII's that were drifting, plus a Nissan 350Z...
I have a bunch of gray interior parts for sale at:

Tranny pump. Didn't cost an arm-and-a-leg, and it shifts MUCH smoother now. This is the third auto supra I've had, and looking back I think they all needed to have the pump at least checked.
I found this car on ebay with mods similar to the ones I want to do:

He said its a low 12 second car with road-course handling. Hmm, I find this a bit hard to believe...
I'm thinking about relocating the oil filter after cursing it once again. And that leads to the question of upgrading the oil cooler. WAY too much info on this subject on here. I tried to read Jdub's sticky on upgrading and relocating the oil filter, but my brain turned to mush very quickly...
I have enlisted the aid of someone who has rebuilt engines for a living, albeit domestics not imports.
He wants to pull the engine, NOT the tranny. I do have the "pull-your-engine-in-49-easy-steps" article, and it does show them pulling the engine and tranny. Greg doesn't see the need to pull...
I'm in the process of prepping my car to have the engine pulled. The seals are shot, I get a giant cloud of blue smoke when I start up. The turbo is shot, it has oil in it and too much play. I've been a member on here about 2 years and I have read too much information about rebuilding an engine...
Just pull the alarm. There is a how-to on here. You will have to make a little jumper wire (what I did) or ground a wire to the steering wheel. The alarm works by killing the ground to the starter.
project time: ~30 mins and you get the satisfaction of destroying it with a sledgehammer.
Nice find George. Love the color! When you swing through KY please share with me your engine cleaning secrets. I'm always scared I will mess up the electronics.
I didn't see any pics of the interior.. ?
Looks fab Derek! pretty good match. The only other option I would've liked to have seen was George's idea of chroming the wheels.
Your sup is so unique!
Clients ask me all the time how to make certain that the data on their HDs is unreadable, and I always recommend the sledgehammer trick. It does a wonderful job, takes very little time, and most people have access to one for free.
Regardless, I've just put an iPod adapter (awesome christmas...
The interior is the one part of a car thats right up in your face, so its easy to be soured by the whole package if the interior is not appealing.
Put the stock dash and console back in Hommer. I think you'll get at least $2500 for it. Put your custom dash and gauges up on ebay or supramania...
Looks like I'm out. I've nursed this car along all summer, and now the engine rebuild is at a critical point. Its running terrible. The whole engine shudders as it runs. The most I drive the car is out of the garage and pulling it right back in. My goal is to get back running in time for Indy...
