What did you do to your supra today? Pics

If you haven't paid the ticket yet, CONTEST IT!! I took my sup to the local dealer, they confirmed the speedo was off, took the paperwork to the courthouse, she glanced at the paperwork for 10 seconds, stamped it, paid a small fine for a cracked windshield and walked away. Really!! BTW, my...

    Dare I Sell My Supra......2JZUL8R?

Drive it to work. Certainly they have some sort of summer there in Wisconsin. I've been to Minnesota plenty of times in the summer, so I know that Wisconsin gets some nice weather.. If it gets rained on, for the most part sups are water proof ;) Really, why buy a car to park it in the...

    What tires to get?

Well I decided to go with the Michelin Pilot SPT A/S-3's. I almost went with the Kuhmo Ecsta PA10s, but everyone says the Michelins will last longer. Also, shockingly, this tire center fixed the camber issues in the rear and I think this car has the best alignment since it was stock. It was just...

What happened to all the Supra meets? Anyone out there? Anyone? Bueller..?

What happened to all the meets? Is there not an Indy2k14 this year? What about Chicago? I checked out some the regional forums and its all quiet. Is there not enough cars left on the road?? We used to have Indy in May, Chicago in August and Kyana in October..Anything going on in the east coast...

A lot has changed since I've been involved with the Supra community.

I recently read an article in Autoweek predicting an increase in interest in 80'-90's GT cars as forty-somethings look for cars from their youth. They were predicting an increase in price and demand for these vehicles and the article did mention the Supra. I just got my car back on the road...

    What tires to get?

I haven't seen a thread on tires lately, and since tire models change all the time, I was wondering what folks were rolling with nowadays. I currently have a set of stock-size Kuhmo Ecsta SPT's, but they are a z-rated tire and with my car lowered, they wear very unevenly. I don't drive the sup...

Restoring EGR valve, can't find needed gasket/seal..

Thanks for the link. Champion Toyota says there's none out there. Any idea of what the size might be? Looking at the diagram, its kinda hard to tell what it originally looked like.

Restoring EGR valve, can't find needed gasket/seal..

The EGR was blocked, so now I am restoring it. See pic below for new part (from Toyota): Since I don't have the original EGR unit to refer to, it appears that a gasket or seal is needed under the nut. Toyota no longer provides this part. Anyone got a picture of what this should look like...

Need help deciding which fuel pump..

I found it last night at: http://www.supramania.com/forums/content.php?207-How-To-Walbro-Install-with-12VRelay-all-in-one-thread-with-Pics Thanks IJ :) I actually have some $$ now to spend on it, so I will pickup a new Denso.

Need help deciding which fuel pump..

So I am trying to get my car back on the road after 3 years. (for those that don't know me, "hi", for everyone else, "I haven't given up!"). Long story short, the engine has been rebuilt, block overhauled completely, new top and bottom. Great potential for future HP. I have stock ECU, stock AFM...

EGR deleted? Whats missing in this pic..

I'm trying to put my engine back together. Well, not me personally, but an auto mechanic with lots more experience than me. But he's not a 7m guru. And he was not the one who took it apart. So here is a picture of the rear of the intake manifold. There is a pipe coming out of the EGR valve that...

Downpipe w/integrated elbow that doesn't delete the first cat..?

haha, just did. Rabidchimp has a ceramic-coated one. Problem solved!

Downpipe w/integrated elbow that doesn't delete the first cat..?

SSS - stinky supra syndrome. And I actually do care about the environment. The 3" ss exhaust with the tanabe medallion is very nice, I just hate the stock elbow that's on it.

Downpipe w/integrated elbow that doesn't delete the first cat..?

Does anyone know of a downpipe with an integrated turbo elbow that doesn't delete the first cat?? I can't tell if the $200 unit from DriftMotion does or not, and its not in the description. They are out all week on break, so I can't just pop them an e-mail. I've looked at Titan, BIC and many...

Where to get new VIN/Title for restoration project..

That is the plan. I was trying to figure out what state would be best, and then I have to find someone who lives there to give the car to and, in turn, who can sell it back to me with vin and title. I have some family in Calgary, but thats quite a long haul from Kentucky. Michigan has a process...

Where to get new VIN/Title for restoration project..

I need a new VIN as well as a title. In the mustang world, VINs are everything. The current VIN does not accurately describe what the car is right now. We supra people could care less if we start with a non-turbo car with a non-turbo VIN and replace the engine with a turbo. The mustang folks DO...

Where to get new VIN/Title for restoration project..

So my hubby and his Dad and brother restored a 69 mustang from a lot of other mustangs. This is called "cloning" in the mustang world. There is no title to this car. There is a VIN, but its for a mustang with a smaller engine. They want to get a restoration VIN that more accurately describes...
