    2 Supras

    According the username, looks like the lady's got the horses. Good show! When folks ask if my car has a turbo I say, "But of course.." Welcome both of you to the forums!

    :::INDY 2009 MEET::: (Indy2K9)

    Last year a few of us stayed at the Airport Radisson. I'm staying there again this year. Its like $73 a night. I know its not the cheapest, but at least its got a nice, well-lit parking lot and its in a safe area. The rooms are real nice too. Maybe we could meet at BW3's again - its over on...

    Oil Leak Advice Required *pics*

    I'm watching this thread carefully. I found the exact same problem when I changed the oil yesterday. My car has a splash guard, and the very rear of the guard was oily and dirty. The front seal on my oil pan was wet, as well as several of the bolts. Last summer my car got a brand new oil pan...

    Decisions, decisions...help me out guys!

    You would impress the owner most if you told him (her?) that you plan on leaving it stock. The owners want someone who is going to take care of the car as-is. Not rip the motor out, the interior out, etc etc. If you do get it, you will have a truly unique car that could be worth more than most...

    :::INDY 2009 MEET::: (Indy2K9)

    The video was great - however to make it more realistic there should've been a shot at the beginning of the red car's owner checking all the fluids before taking off :biglaugh: I'll be bringing a camera Jeff - I need to see that sup in person! Don't be bringing someone else's car! ;) Well...

    :::INDY 2009 MEET::: (Indy2K9)

    I said "Central" Kentucky. That does not include Louisville or Covington ! I'm talking Lexington and the little communities surrounding it. Last I heard Allen wasn't going. Too bad, both his cars are very nice. So, are you bringing a supra this year Jeff?? ;)

    :::INDY 2009 MEET::: (Indy2K9)

    Okay guys, whats going on Friday night before WW? Last year we had bad chinese buffet. I didn't see anything posted about plans for Friday. I'm driving up Friday afternoon. If there's going to be an impromptu get-together Friday, lemme know! Looks like I'll be the only one coming in from...

    Wrecked my Sup tonight - my bad :(

    Can't find the thick double-sided tape that toyota originally used. I know its by 3m. They tried lots of tape plus an adhesive, and it still waves. The waviness was in the molding prior to the accident. You're right rtrdpenguin, it could be where those clips don't line up properly because they...

    my country drive

    You guys don't travel much, do you? The US is more the exception, not the rule for courteous drivers. Last time I saw Rome, they didn't bother to paint lines on the streets for lanes. I saw streets with traffic that varied from 4 to 6 lanes, depending on the size of the vehicle and the width of...

    Wrecked my Sup tonight - my bad :(

    Well, it did take some time to get 'er fixed, 2 months. But, warm weather has arrived and we are back on the road: A few dollars lighter too :( But, since there was downtime, there were opportunities for improvement: New console cover (PM Empera, they're like $30, easy to install)...

    Symptoms of a Dying Rack?

    I had a rack go bad, but that wasn't my symptom (150k miles). The steering wheel never had an ounce of play, in fact, every rock in the road seemed to turn the wheel. Steering was a bit of a labor. Turning corners was a two-handed event. Then it started leaking PS fluid, but only around corners...

    stripped targa bolt

    Easy to replace. Post an ad in the WTB section, check junkyard or ebay. Probably get a new one cheaper than you think from the dealer. I took apart my targa top and replaced one. Like poodles said, very important to tighten and loosen in the correct order.
