I recently had my speedometer cable replaced with a brand new OEM one. It eliminated most, but not all of the vibration in the needle at low speeds. I think it has more to do with the fact that its a run by a cable instead of digital, like our modern cars. My old Pontiac did the same thing way...
I have the same exhaust. It sounds great, I just hate the coffee-can look. Recently the car got a little "louder" so I'm thinking a small hole has developed in one of the joints of the exhaust..so I may take this as an opportunity to return to the dual-tip exhaust look.
Went to a car show. My husband's family is big into cars, we brought four along:
My Supra
My step-dad's 46 ford (he did complete restoration including paint)
My husband's 95 SC300 (all original)
69' Mustange (complete restoration done by my husband, my brother-in-law, and their Dad)...
How to remove the paint:

I haven't attempted it yet, but plan to. Not a big fan of the LED look, but would like all three pieces to be the same color.
There is a plastic box that sits right next to the rear wiper motor. Power runs through that box before it makes it to the motor. That box is the relay. I tested the wires before they enter the relay and did not see any juice. I checked all three contacts with a voltmeter.
Switches & relays...
Took the sup on its first real road trip since the rebuild. Went up to Clingman's Dome, highest point in the Smokies. Took the same trip back in '09, car overheated. This time, no overheating! :icon_bigg My investments in heat control really paid off! The A340e still gets very hot, despite the...
Nice write-up! I remember a similar thread, but the point was to make all three rear pieces match in color. I do remember the oven trick.
Methinks with a little darker paint you can get tail lights that have a darker look instead of brighter, like the JDM tail lights.
My rear wiper is not working. Threw a voltmeter on it, and no juice is making it to the relay box. I can't seem to find a fuse dedicated to the rear wiper, unless its shares one with the front. Front wipers are ok. My rear de-frogger never worked (fried), the rear brake light in the spoiler...
Well, I'm still here and I'm in Lex too. I drive a white supra that you may see around Hamburg. Allen's white turbo is down (mk3forme) but he drives his blue NA on occasion (its mint). There is a gay blue one driven by a black guy that I have seen around Hamburg. Brian from Brian's Bluegrass...
Not sure..I got the rebuilt head from a guy that was getting out of Supras. He got it from an outfit in Florida called Clearwater Cylinder Head back in '06. The head sat unused. I called Clearwater, and they recommended replacing the seals. So I had it done (or so I thought), but the car sat for...
So do you recommend just replace them all, or if I pull the valve cover off, is there something I should be looking for?
The head was rebuilt, all seals replaced, but the entire engine rebuild took years. Yes, plural, more than one, like three years...
I got about 3k on my rebuilt motor. Car has been running well, recently got around to doing one of Driftmotions IC+hardpipe+BV kits. Following the kit install and oil change, I've noticed a build-up of dirt on the bumper. I know it wasn't there a week before these upgrades because I took the car...
Flipped a guy off driving a rental truck that pulled into my lane. With traffic on my right, I had to slam on the brakes and lean on the horn. Boosted around him and ya know what I learned? Its a lot easier and a lot more noticeable to flip someone off when the targa is out. They probably just...
