So 9 pages of discussion, and not 1 person has offerred any advise on how to get there. The link provided showed a grand total of 1 car that has done 600 with a 1J with documentation. He blew that 600 number away with 602! It doesn't mention what fuel was running through his 1600cc. injectors...
Commonly referred to as the "Mother Fucker Hose" at my house. I've never met one I didn't hate. I once had to reattatch an alternator plug to the harness because I took it off to get to something else (can't even remember what). And, they almost always crack when removed.
Be sure that your emergency flasher switch is plugged in. I can't remember exactly what all it takes out, but in the digidash it may all be different anyway.
The 90 harness will sell for more than it will cost you for the proper harness. And, it will save you the cost of a large bottle of Tylenol at the same time.
Turbo or N/A?
Fire suggests a rich fuel mixture. Rev problems sometimes suggest AFM trouble, but you seem to have that fixed. I honestly don't know if a bad AFM restricts air flow, or if it just sends bad signals to the ECU. If it were AFM, it should throw you a code though
