Good luck. At least if it fails. You won't destroy to much! ;)
btw as mentioned before. Jun, HKS, and a couple more than that from the old time companies. He'll I think even stollen at that time.
always size the IC for the application!
As you learned first hand. Bigger is not ALWAYS better. You always design the system (in this case the intake/intercooler) around its primary application. You could run around with a smaller IC and then track time, replace with a bigger IC?
that is kind of a vague question isn't it?
What type of turbo? know the specs of the compressors? A lot more information is needed than you have provided.
i really hope the money is there instead of the, yeah I am intrested, then money times comes, most play like casper and disappear. I always like to be proved wrong though!
and on that note. If this fails. Consider this a setback to thread of this kind here in SM. And by set back I mean...
Who
ouch. Sorry about tgat. Not sure why I called it the IC regulator. Lol. Yes the voltage regulator which is that picture you attached.
One thing I forgot to ask you. What type of load is the alternator reading on the sense circuit?
And I guess you NEVER talked directly with TODA have you? I did. Specifically back in 1999/2000. I even explained to them the application (yes they actually speak english over in TODA japan). My statement stands, TODA designed them for the NA engine regardless of what you BELIEVE. there is only...
ok folks. ONLY warning. This is theKnifeArtist thread. No need to insult, lambast on his experience, after all it is his experience (mastergrader, looking at you specifically).
Hmm emilio, that is the mount for the oil filter. That thickness is there for a reason.
What I want to know is how did you crack that thick part! that is AMAZING! What did you use to install the oil pressure bypass? a 10 foot breaker bar?
I have been in the supra scene for quite some time. The Toda cams for the 7M where for the NA (7M-GE) motor. They never made one for the 7M-GTE. Reason I know this is because of the overlap.
and it makes sense. If one of the diodes is intermittent or temp sensitive, as it gets hotter, the readings will change.
Before I keep on.
Very nicely done on the troubleshooting. Very thorough and detailed :)
Change the IC regulators on the ALT. It will fix your problem. That and they...
DBN is right.
Check the wire that goes from the + to the fuse block. It is a pretty thick 8 gauge wire (roughly). I seen it that the terminal corrodes and you are left with no positive to the fuse block or even worse. It is shorting out.

yeah all stroker motors have interferance problems with the oil pump drive shaft. I caught this while building my short block and advised adjuter to check it x4 also.
Never seen a "standalone" DBW system. It usually has to tie into the EMS as DBW REQUIRES two throttle position sensors for safety failback.
TP and TP2.
MoTeC has the capability but it is an "optional" pay.
the Vi-Pec i think has it also but not aware how it works there.
AEM does not. I...
