IMO don't part it out. I've seen many other Supras sit for WAY longer than that. Just take your time, of course, unless don't have an alternate car, or need the money, etc.

Why would you? It will make no difference, and the intake plenum will make things worse since it won't include ACIS, unless you've got a Cressida in which case you should notice no difference. If you're going turbo, then I can see why this MIGHT be done, but if you're N/A, then you should have...

JDM engines are generally unreliable....they're junkyard motors that are a hit or miss. Almost as random as the eBay knockoffs that people run these days. If you want boost and you know the 7mge is in bad condition, then swap it out for a turbo motor.

Back when I had my Supra I never went WOT, and surprisingly shit still happened to it. IMO, don't be afraid to go WOT and enjoy the car. Cars like these are meant to be worked on a lot.
