There used to be a guide about GE electronics NA-T in the sticky, but I removed it because it's a bad idea and should only be done by people who either know what they're doing or don't care about the engine. There's honestly no point in doing it, but if you must, use a good piggyback and either...
IMO don't part it out. I've seen many other Supras sit for WAY longer than that. Just take your time, of course, unless don't have an alternate car, or need the money, etc.
You will notice that I have cleaned it up a bit so there's less scrolling and less reading. I removed the GE electronics part because I figure it's very risky and not worth it for most people who turbo their cars. I'm pretty sure the reason most people look at this FAQ is because they are...
Why would you? It will make no difference, and the intake plenum will make things worse since it won't include ACIS, unless you've got a Cressida in which case you should notice no difference. If you're going turbo, then I can see why this MIGHT be done, but if you're N/A, then you should have...

If you want boost and you know the 7mge is in bad condition, then swap it out for a turbo motor.
OP, I just removed your signature. Not to be harsh, but I don't even know what the hell you were thinking when you put that as your signature. Read the signature rules, thanks.
Back when I had my Supra I never went WOT, and surprisingly shit still happened to it. IMO, don't be afraid to go WOT and enjoy the car. Cars like these are meant to be worked on a lot.
