all it is for is the percentage of throttle the low values will stay at and the what the high throttle will start at. in between those percentages it will start rising to meet the high throttle percent. i usually set them at 30 to 50 low and 60 to 70 high

I am running mine at 25% & 50%, since by 25 % throttle, I am starting to make boost,
and if I have my foot half way down, it needs full fuel.
But that is on mine.

The proper way to run the Hi/Low setting on the AFC is at 68%Low/69% high. The TCCS stays in closed loop untill 67% throttle is applied, and there is no reason to tune for 70-80% and then retune for WOT. I did all this research before i put mine in. Just do 68/69 or 69/70.

I got my info from a Reg Reimer page when i was reading about it, ill see if i can dig up the page.

Well the thing is, if your in closed loop the tccs feeds off the o2 sensor aiming for the 14.7 af or whatever voltage that is. If your adding and pulling fuel with the SAFC the TCCS is just going to do more work to get it back to that Voltage/AFR while in closed loop. Its actually impossible to tune anything in closed loop with a SAFC, cause the TCCS will just fight it. I believe there is a way to make the tccs sit in open loop all the time, i wouldn't recommend it or do it though. Just set your hi/low to 69/70% and just tune for WOT. Everything below 67% throttle the tccs accounts for on its own, but once its past that it goes off of a fuel table.

If you read through this you will understand what im talking about.

so basically low throttle tuning is almost worthless especially at anything below 2500rpm

actually scratch that, just went into the garage to play around with it a little bit and it really does just correct the a/f no matter what you do with the safc.
as for the afpr, definitely saw a difference in that

If 02 sensors will always fight back whatever piggy back you have...

shouldn't we just put (lo: 68) (Hi: 69) and tune high only?

EDIT: Nevermind, I tried it today, even tho the 02 sensors will try to put their own numbers, the safc does change something in the equation.

Hey... First off...

I have an 87 Supra, T4 gt35 Garret turbo,, 550cc's and Lex AFM.

SAFC: Ok!
So !

This thing runs awful with the blow off valve releasing into the atmosphere. It dies on me, but the tuning has something major to do with it.

Does anyone want to share and post their Tuning curve, High Throttle, and Low Throttle settings for their SAFC?
PLEASE otherwise... I will take it to a shop. I HATE SHOPS. I want to tune it myself. It wont exceed 3000rpm, and the RPMS ping and the engine wont pass 3000K, in my supra! and I fixed boost leaks I fixed all codes, it comes down to tuning.

I understand that every car is different, just...
JUST What are your SAFC Settings for Low/High Throttle, and Fuel Curve Numbers ...
PLEASE? thankyou
